We are a small company, specialised in planning, organising and carrying out individual travels, projects and events. Our main travels include areas in Africa i.e Kenya, Tanzania, Madagascar and of course in Switzerland.

Nature, country, local people and you as our client are in our focus. We do not visit tourist ghettos but always try to offer authentic and long lasting experiences whereby we use our contacts to and connections with the local people as well as our knowledge of nature. With us you go closer - focussed on life.
We operate our small company as a side source of income, don't have any employees and therefore offer very low fixed prices with very good cost effectiveness.

Masai Mara
Just at the border to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve we got a big plot to build a sustainable camp. The Masai Mara Reserve forms together with the big Serengeti in Tanzania the most important ecosystem for wild animals in East Africa and becomes UNESCO world heritage because of the annual migration trough Mara river of hundred thousands of zebras and gnus.
We built here a high quality camp and started in October 2013 the business with 10 luxury tents and a restaurant. The tents have enough distance to each other that you get the impression of being alone in the terrific wilderness of Mara. Through the glass front you can recognize the wild animals even from your bed. Each tent has its own solar panels for electricity and hot water. A normal tent is for triples (2 beds), then we have 3 Honeymoon-Tents (each tent 66 m2 with veranda, living room, wet area with separate toilet and shower room).
Since 2011 we support together with the Rotary Club the primary School in Ololaimutia (new school buildings, new desks, books, freshwater-connection).
Simba Oryx Nature Camp is situated just few minutes from Ololaimutia Gate with great view to Serengeti and Masai Mara.

Beach Cottages
Welcome to Simba + Oryx Beach Cottages, located at South coast of Mombasa (Diani), situated in our privat and quiet beach plot along the Indian Ocean, on a sandy palm beach.
Cottages We have 10 self catering cottages, well furnished with an African outlook and accomodation for 2 up to 6 guests. Each cottage has running hot and cold water, a granite kitchen with gas cooker, fridge, cutlery and crockery, a dining room with lounge as well as a toilet and shower. All the cottages have a veranda overlooking the blue Indian Ocean with a direct cool breeze. All rooms have been fitted with Lamu ceilings to boost privacy and comfortable Mwule beds. The big windows allow enough air circulation in the rooms which have additional ceiling fans. Bed linen, towels and mosquito nets are included.
New we have a beautiful swimming pool and serve drinks and food in our retsaurant with bar beside.
Location We are located one hour drive southwards from Mombasa on Diani Beach Road, opposite Bougain Villa Residence, 300 meters before Hotel Neptune. We are easily accessible by Matatu (public traffic), Taxi or privat car. There is a private parking area inside the plot.
Activities: Apart from swimming, snorkelling, sun bathing and walking along the outstanding sandy beach, you can also indulge in boat rides, deep sea fishing and diving. Daily excursions to the near Shimba Hills (National Park) as well as Wasini Island (snorkelling, dolphins) are recommended. Shops, restaurants, bars and discos are easily accessible both with private, taxi or public transport.

Prices
A big cottage for maximum 6 poeple (2 bedrooms, dining/lounge, toilet, shower, kitchen, veranda, total 120 m2) direct at the beach costs between 70 and 200 Euro per day (in KES: 8'500 - 27'000, depending on season and location; all inc: electricity, warm water, kitchen, gas, beddings and towels). A small cottage for maximum 2 people (64 m2) costs about 65 Euro (6'000 - 12'000 KES).

Kilimanjaro (5’895 m) rises majestically over the wide savanna landscape Africas. To climb this legendary mountain is a living adventure. One of the fascination of climbing the highest mountain in Africa is to cross all the different vegetationzones from tropical rainforest over moorland and stoney landscapes up to the arctic peak.

1 day safari in Amboseli.
Guided Kilimanjaro tour with Sherpas on the adventurous Machame-Route in 5 days (all nights in tents).
1 day game drive in Tsavo East Nationalpark.

Requirements: to climb Kilimanjaro can be compared with a several days tour in the alps, without mountaineering but in high altitude. A good physical condition, endurance and desire of adventure are good requirements for this tour. The daily walking time with a small backpack is between 4 and 6 hours, except the final climb to the peak and decend (about 11 hours).

Program:
Scheduled flight Zürich-Paris-Antananarivo (Tana). Capital city and its inhabitants. We drive with a small bus southwards through the highland: fascinating landscape, sparkling ricefields, traditional red mudhouses, friendly and lovely people. 3 days boat ride on Tsiribihina river, excursion to the famous limestone needles (Tsingy of Bemaraha, Unesco world natural heritage). Via dry forest reserve Kirindy to porttown of Morondava with the fotogenic Baobab avenue. Beautiful beaches. Domestic flight to Tulear. Through the dry south up to the stoney Isalo hills, where we have a light trekking in the fascinating landscape. From highlandtown Fianarantsoa to the rainforest reserve of Ranomafano. With an experienced guide we trace during two days lemurs, chameleons and orchides. By car to Manakar at the Indian Ocean. Boat drive along the Canal of Pangalanes. With the legendary train from Manakar to Fianar. Back to the vibrant Capital city Tana. Scheduled flight to Zürich.
